Presentation will Address the Technical Challenges of Building Commercially Viable Cloud Data Encryption Technologies

One of the most difficult technical challenges in developing encryption for commercial applications running in the cloud is to establish the right balance between the competing goals of encryption/security versus features/performance. The session will explore the various elements to this trade-off including levels of encryption, key management, the need for user interaction, and characteristics of applications where these may apply.
